Dr. Alkesh Chaudhary, founder of M D Eye Care and Laser Centre, started his independent ophthalmic career in 1996 after completing his post-graduation in ophthalmology from PGIMS Rohtak and vitreoretinal fellowship from Shankranetharalya Chennai. He also had a short but extensive ophthalmic exposure with Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, Venu Eye Institute, and Shroff Charity Eye Hospital.

He has also worked with G M Modi / Saket City Hospital and Mool Chand Hospital as an Honorary Consultant for more than 10 years, pioneering the phacoemulsification technique of cataract surgery in these hospitals in December 1996.

Dr Alkesh Chaudhary founded M D EYE CARE AND LASER CENTRE in July 2004. It is dedicated to ‘M’ mom(Maya Rani) and ‘D’ Dad(Diyal Dass), which is why the center is named M D. The aim is to deliver the best ophthalmic services available in the world and to provide these services to even poor people. One motive is that no patient should leave the hospital without treatment due to lack of money, and we will deliver our best.

Dr Alkesh Chaudhary not only excels in surgical skills but academically also very active regularly participating with his original paper presentations in national and international conferences like AAO, ESCRS, APAO, AIOS, DOS, UOS, NZOS, MOS, HOS, and has with awarded many time for his work.

He has been regularly contributing to the growth of his parent society DOS Delhi Ophthalmic Society as an office bearer at various posts.
